Report Room: how to report a cam room, and what happens next
In one sentence
The button or form a platform gives you to report a room, a user or content that breaks its rules.
Where to report
On Chaturbate, the “REPORT ROOM” function sits at the top right of each broadcast window, and you can also write to support; every report is reviewed as soon as practicable, and in no case later than four business days.3, 1 Stripchat offers a report form and report buttons close to the live broadcast or the content.2 BongaCams asks for content that breaks its terms or the law to be reported through its content removal web form, and copyright complaints through a dedicated DMCA form.4, 5
A report is not a refund
Reporting a room tells the platform about a breach of its rules.3 None of the documents we read on reporting promises you anything in return. When a show did not happen as promised, the path is the platform’s refund rules, which often set a short deadline.
On SWAG
On SWAG, the “One-Tap Report” sits behind the gear icon of the live room, under “Report a Problem”; tapping the gear costs no Diamonds.6
