Buying a performer’s videos: what do you actually get?
In one sentence
Videos or pictures a performer sells on the platform; on CamSoda you acquire a license to view them on the platform only, at your own risk.
A license, not a file
On CamSoda, performers can post videos and pictures for sale on their profile.1 What you acquire is a license to view that Purchased Content solely through the platform, for your own private entertainment.3 On Flirt4Free, credits buy access to Videos On Demand, and a performer’s fan club can make them cheaper.4
At your own risk
CamSoda writes that a purchase of such content is at your own risk: the platform makes no representation about its legality, suitability, enjoyability or any other quality, and you release it from claims related to that content.2, 5 Like a recording of a private show, what you buy stays on the platform.our reading, source 3
On SWAG
On SWAG, creators price their content in Diamonds: Stories from 0 to 240, Posts of one to ten photos or videos from 0 to 3,600.6, 7 What you unlock stays under Profile, then Unlocked Content, even if you block the creator.8
When unlocked content disappears
On SWAG, content taken down by its creator or removed by the platform ends your right to view it and leaves your Unlocked Items, and SWAG writes that unlocked Diamonds cannot be refunded.9, 10 None of the documents we read gives what a Diamond costs in money, so these prices cannot be read in dollars.
