What is a password show on Chaturbate, and how is it paid?
In one sentence
A Chaturbate show in a room locked by a password: only viewers who have it get in, and the agreed price is paid by tip before it starts.
A room behind a password
On Chaturbate, a broadcaster can put a password on the room: only viewers who have it can enter and see the show, and the room disappears from the site until the password is removed.1, 2
You pay first, by tip
Chaturbate’s help, written for broadcasters, says that the amount agreed for a password show should be tipped before the show, because the tokens are not deducted automatically as they are in a private show.3 And on Chaturbate every tip is final once sent.5 You pay in advance, for a show whose length and content rest on your agreement with the broadcaster.our reading, source 3, 4
The agreement is all you have
The same help asks broadcasters to be clear, before the show, about how long it will last and what will or will not happen.4 Since the tip is final, settle those points before you send it. A private show, by contrast, is billed by the minute while it lasts.6
