What is a tip goal, and what happens when it is reached?
In one sentence
A token target announced by the performer: when the room’s tips reach it, a promised public show starts.
A target for the whole room
The performer announces what they will do and how many tokens it takes. Every viewer’s tips count toward the same total, and the show starts when the total is reached. Cam4 displays a goal progress bar in the room so you can follow it.
On Stripchat, the show is owed
Stripchat’s help center, written for models, is direct: when the goal is reached, the promised show must start. Its larger version, the Epic goal, starts at 2,000 tokens.
On Chaturbate, it depends on the app
On Chaturbate, the help center points to apps that broadcasters add to their room to set tip goals before a show begins.
What you are really paying for
You pay a tip, so the rules on tips apply: on most platforms it is final once sent. If the goal is never reached, the documents we read say nothing about getting your share back.
