Memberships
What is a premium, supporter or gold membership on a cam site?
In one sentence
A paid membership of the whole site, not of one performer, that unlocks extra features; usually billed every month.
One site, many names
Chaturbate calls it Supporter, CamSoda and MyFreeCams call it Premium, Cam4 Gold, Stripchat Ultimate. Unlike a fan club, it is a membership of the platform itself.
The price, and how it renews
| Platform | Price | Renewal |
|---|---|---|
| Chaturbate | $19.95 a month | monthly |
| CamSoda | $19.95 a month | monthly |
| Flirt4Free | $39.95 per 30 days, 150 credits included | every 30 days until cancelled |
| Cam4 | 125 tokens | monthly, as long as 125 tokens stay in the account |
| MyFreeCams | your first token purchase | none: premium for life |
Chaturbate and CamSoda both add a one-time bonus of 200 tokens. Stripchat states that buying Ultimate does not give tokens, and publishes no Ultimate price in the help articles we read.
The trap to avoid
A monthly membership keeps charging after you stop using the site. Cam4’s Gold renews from your token balance each month as long as 125 tokens remain. Check the renewal line before you subscribe.
