Memberships
What is a fan club on a cam site, and how is it billed?
In one sentence
A monthly subscription to one performer, renewed automatically, in exchange for perks or discounts.
One performer, every month
A fan club is not a site membership: you subscribe to one performer. Stripchat presents it as a way to support a model and get exclusive perks in return. Flirt4Free and LiveJasmin put the accent on discounts on that performer’s services.
It renews by itself
Stripchat renews the subscription every month unless you cancel it. Cam4 rebills every 30 days. Stop it before the renewal date if you do not want the next month.
The price
The performer chooses it. Chaturbate allows from 50 to 2,500 tokens a month. Cam4 starts at $1 a month and shows the price in US dollars at checkout, with tax added depending on where you live. LiveJasmin offers four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond.
When the price goes up
Chaturbate keeps your price: in its own example, a member who joined at $5.99 a month keeps paying $5.99 after the broadcaster raises the price to $10.99.
