What is a ticket show on a cam site?
In one sentence
A show you pay for once, at a fixed price, instead of by the minute; once it starts, only ticket holders can see it.
A fixed price instead of a meter
Stripchat compares its ticket show to a group show with one difference: you pay a fixed price for the whole show rather than a rate per minute. The performer chooses that price, anywhere from 8 to 1,000 tokens.
On Chaturbate, a ticket is a tip
On Chaturbate, ticket shows run through apps that broadcasters add to their room. You buy your place by tipping the number of tokens requested, and once the show starts it is hidden from everyone without a ticket. Because the ticket is a tip, the platform’s rules on tips apply to it.
On Cam4, a goal and a deadline
Cam4 sells tickets during a regular broadcast. If the token goal is reached within the time limit, ticket holders move to a private room with its own video, audio and chat. If the show is cancelled, ticket holders are refunded immediately.
Before you buy
On Stripchat you know the full price before the show; on Chaturbate you know it from the amount the broadcaster requests. In both cases you pay before seeing anything.
