Money and tokens
What does tipping mean on a cam site?
In one sentence
Giving a performer some of your tokens, as a gift, to get attention or to say thanks.
A transfer of tokens
MyFreeCams describes a tip as transferring some number of tokens to a model. Stripchat calls tipping the way to get a model’s attention. LiveJasmin names its version “Surprise” or “Tip”, and sends credits instead of tokens.
How little, how much
The smallest anonymous tip on MyFreeCams is 5 tokens. Flirt4Free offers preset amounts and custom tips between 5 and 100,000 credits.
A gift, not a purchase
Every platform that writes about it says the same thing in its own words. Chaturbate treats every token tip as a gratuity, final when sent. Cam4 writes that a voluntary tip does not purchase a particular act or outcome. MyFreeCams asks members not to tip and then demand something unexpected in return.
In practice: a tip can be generous, but it is not a contract. If you want a precise act at a precise price, the private show or the platform’s own paid features are the documented route.
