Local Highlights and Country Ban: LiveJasmin and your country
In one sentence
LiveJasmin features tied to where you are: Local Highlights shows performers of your country, Country Ban lets performers hide from some, Forget My Data erases your data.
Your country, read from your connection
Local Highlights shows you performers whose registered country matches yours.2 LiveJasmin determines that country from your account information or from technical signals such as IP-based geolocation, and may show a country name or a flag next to those performers.1 You can turn Local Highlights off in your account settings, where that is technically available.3 LiveJasmin adds that this country information may be inaccurate.5
Performers can hide from a country
A performer appears in Local Highlights only if they have not set a Country Ban, a restriction by country, and they can also hide the country indicator.2, 3 The terms forbid using country information to harass or discriminate.6
Erasing your data
To close your account and erase your data, choose “Forget My Data” under the Privacy Settings of your account.7 Your status becomes “Cancelled”, and LiveJasmin erases the personal information it stores, except what the law, its legitimate business interests or its privacy policy let it keep.4 What remains of your recordings and messages elsewhere is covered on their pages.
